Event: Look SunSmart ™ at Sunglass Hut

Description: The Ray Festa Melanoma Foundation in association with Sunglass Hut educated shoppers at the Deptford Mall on the importance of wearing sunglasses all year round to protect your eyes and the area around your eyes from direct sun exposure.  Sunglasses are the sunblock for your eyes.

Recap: Look SunSmart day at Sunglass Hut in Deptford was a fun day interacting with shoppers of all ages educating them on the importance of wearing sunglasses all year long.  We offered a free face scan that revealed sun damage that has not yet come to the surface and therefore not visible to the naked eye.  It was evident who regularly wears sunglasses versus those who do not by the "rings" of undamaged skin around the eyes.
